About the Peach Orchard

Since May, 2010

The Peach Orchard is a DIY Skate park in New Orleans, Louisiana. Built one piece at a time, the hard way, by volunteer labor. The original location was bulldozed by Norfolk Southern on May 14, 2012. 2 years of pure skate love destroyed in half an hour by heavy machinery, THANKS A LOT. A new spot has been formed, Parisite/Pleasureside, which ever you may prefer has been born under the I-610 at the corner of Paris and Pleasure. Open sunrise – sunset every day, free. Stay tuned for information about work days, events, and free skateboard lessons.
